what we do.
Building electrification. Feasibility studies, staging plans and detailed design to replace gas boilers, calorifiers and cooking with heat pumps and electric plant. We size for the real load, not the boiler nameplate, and design around the electrical capacity you actually have.
Major plant replacement. Chillers, boilers, cooling towers, heat pumps and air handling plant in occupied buildings: condition assessments, options, tender documentation, staging and commissioning. Brownfield constraints are our normal day.
Energy efficiency and portfolio strategy. BMS optimisation, energy audits, NABERS protection and asset-by-asset decarbonisation pathways that tell you what to do first, what it costs and what it saves.

Paul Sykes, Managing Director
Paul is a mechanical engineer with over 14 years in building services consultancy. His focus is existing buildings: electrification feasibility and design, heat pump and chilled water plant replacement, BMS optimisation and NABERS performance. Recent work includes the electrification of a 39,000 m² Sydney CBD office tower and the staged plant replacement of a heritage council building.
